The Glass Alembic sits on a narrow lane near the market square. Shelves of labeled phials catch the light so the shop seems to glow from within. Shelves are arranged around a central workbench where the owner brews in small copper alembics. The scent is a mingling of citrus, lavender, and the faint tang of ozone. The owner keeps a small locked cabinet for rare and very rare potions; regulars know to bring a trade or leave a favor behind when asking about the cabinet. Mirelle shuns loud coin clinking and prefers bartering with useful curios. She announces a 5% discount to members of local guilds and a modest bartering conversation earns small favors.
