Thalindra hums in an odd minor-key whenever she reads or sells a scroll; a small raven named 'Margin' roosts on the counter and will peck at copper coins but not silver. Thalindra offers modest discounts to apprentices who bring their own quills and will sometimes rearrange the catalog mid-sale because 'the sigils prefer it.' She keeps the most valuable scrolls under a glass dome that fogs slightly when someone tells a lie nearby.”
