Shop Atmosphere
“Stoneforge Arsenals smells of scorched iron and citrus oil. Racks of finished blades hang beside raw ingots and glass cases of rarer pieces. The forge never quite cools; small runes glow where weapons were tempered. Owner Korgan Stoneforge is a grizzled mountain dwarf artificer known for his gruff humor and near-obsessive standards. He lost his left forearm in an old siege and fashioned a clockwork replacement himself that he tinkers with when bored. Korgan bargains in tales as much as coin: he will trade stories, scraps of rare ore, or a commissioned piece for favors and secrets. He insists on thorough inspection of any blade sold and offers lifetime maintenance to customers who pay a premium or swear fealty to the workshop. Regulars note he hums an old dwarven forging chant while he works and never serves the same stew twice.”
