Sturdy hemp rope, coiled and oil-treated so it resists rot. Meri keeps a coil behind the counter for customers who 'forget' they needed one.

A simple rolled bedroll with a wool blanket. Clean and aired weekly — Meri prides herself on a pleasant smell.

A halfling-style ration pouch: dried fruits, cured ham bits, small hardcakes, and a wedge of smoked cheese.

Polished tin with glass panes. Comes pre-filled with oil for about six hours of steady light.

A pair of supple leather boots that mute the wearer's steps. Popular with lookouts and wandering minstrels.

While worn, wearer has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks that rely on moving silently.

A smooth river stone wrapped in copper wire. Meri says it 'knew her great-grandmother.'

Once per day, the holder can reroll a failed Dexterity (Stealth) or Charisma (Persuasion) check and take the new result.

Glass jar with tiny luminescent insects — provide soft, pleasant light and a faint floral scent.

Provides dim light in a 5-foot radius for 8 hours; insects can be released or kept.

Hand-drawn map showing lanes, secret footpaths, and the best places to pick early-season fruit. Includes marginal notes from Meri.

Eating one provides morale; DM may grant Inspiration at their discretion

A thin brass ring engraved with a small hearth motif. Popular among travelers crossing chill passes.

While wearing, the bearer is unaffected by cold weather extremes and gains resistance to cold damage.

A polished piece of oak set in silver with a small lucky pebble at its heart. Rumored to be crafted by an artisan who once traveled with halfling caravans.

While attuned, once per long rest you can cast Pass without Trace (no components). Additionally, you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Hidden inner pocket (fits small valuables)

A cozy-looking cloak embroidered with hearth-flowers. It seems to slightly warm the wearer and make them more approachable.

Atk On a hit, once per short rest the user can re-roll a damage die and use the higher result.

Light, balanced blade favored by halfling defenders for quick parries and slips between foes.

A short blade designed to be discreetly worn in a boot or a hidden pocket. Excellent for utility and close defense.

Can be concealed in clothing; Meri offers to install a small sheath for free with purchase.

Shop Atmosphere

Meri greets every customer as if they were family — she insists on offering a sample of sweets and a short story about the item's origin. She keeps a tiny bell that she rings instead of yelling, and she catalogues barters in a ledger nicknamed 'The Gossiping Ledger'. Regulars receive 'Underbun Points' (a little stamped token) that can be redeemed for a free jar of lanternflies or a slice of smoked cheese. Meri will haggle gently, preferring a useful story or a trinket in trade to cold coin when persuadable.
