A small vial of briny, sparkling liquid that steadies the stomach and calms the lungs.
A stout, salt-stained pack that looks ordinary until opened. A timeless classic for adventurers with too much loot.
A simple band of hammered silver with a faint sheen like a polished shell. Worn on the finger.
A short, ivory-colored wand with tiny salt crystals set along its length. When used it fires harmless-seeming motes of force that strike true.
A brittle scroll sealed with a ring of corrosive salt; when unrolled it smells faintly of smoldering kelp.
A weathered, salt-etched spellbook bound in whale-leather. Pages are slightly damp to the touch yet never mold.
A faceted, sea-blue crystal that condenses saltwater into a thin mist when turned.
A quill that never dries, its nib stained the color of brackish foam.
A silver locket in the shape of a lighthouse. Inside is a sliver of polished abalone that glows faintly at dusk.
A brass compass whose needle moves with the ocean's memory rather than true north.
A cloak with a sheen like wet kelp. Lightweight and protective, it seems to shrug off small misfortunes.
A masterwork blade framed with mother-of-pearl inlay. Reliable and true, favored by skilled sailors who fight on deck.

Shop Atmosphere
“The shop smells faintly of brine and fresh ink. Shelves are lined with sea-glass jars, conch-shell albarellos, and coral-shaped bookends. The shopkeeper obligingly wraps purchases in oiled cloths and sprinkles a pinch of 'preservative salt' over scrolls. A tide-clock above the counter ticks to an unknown rhythm; when the tide-clock rings a single bell, small enchanted items hum with stored energy. Maris often hums an old dockyard shanty and will accept interesting stories or rare shells as partial trade. He dislikes loud brass instruments in the shop.”
