Shop Inventory
(18)A small glass vial of reddish liquid. Common among adventurers and sold to those who can find the shop's stair.
A heavier crystal phial sealed with a bit of kelp. For deeper wounds and darker deals.
A battered sack whose lining smells faintly of brine. Looks ordinary until you try to stuff a bulkier item inside.
Boots of soft, dark leather threaded with seaweed-fiber laces. They seem to drink sound.
A glass orb the size of a fist. It drifts like a gull in the air when freed from the shelf.
A salted scroll sealed with blue wax. The ink smells faintly of kelp.
A scroll whose margin is embroidered with tiny, wavelike sigils. Useful for bodies that do not wish to be bound by water or roots.
A thin strip of lacquered hide. When you unfurl it a single still image runs across its surface.
A lantern whose flame is cold and blue. The glass seems to flow like water when you tilt it.
A jagged shard of obsidian glass that seems to hold a faint echo of a voice when held to the ear.
A fat book that accepts names and memories in wet ink. The pages resist fire and rot.
An amulet of dull blue stone threaded by a hair of whale bone. It feels warm when the tide is high.
A small packet of powdered chalk mixed with ground shell and charcoal. Useful for protective and binding rites.
A salt-streaked cloak trimmed with black thread. Warps with the light, seeming to hold and reject it in equal measure.
A slim wand of driftwood blackened by salt. It hums softly when pointed.
A ring carved from a polished shell. It hums like a distant tide when you wear it.
A longsword whose blade carries streaks of crystallized salt. Balanced and keen, it sings against the silence of the deep.
A dagger of dark bronze with a single seam of salt down the middle. When drawn it smells like a shore line at midnight.
Mother Sythra "Salt-Tongue"
Shop Atmosphere
“The shop is hidden in the old lower temple of the drowned saint in Darktow. Entry is by invitation or by those who know the stair marked with a salt glyph. Mother Sythra accepts coin but prefers bargains: a secret, a memory, a favor, a vial of seawater from a true shore, or a small scar. She will occasionally accept blood drawn in ritual, knowledge of a name, or a promise to return an item later. Haggling is conducted in whispers; the price the price on the tag is only a baseline. Some relics demand 'payment in story' before they let their power be used. Customers who lie to Mother Sythra find themselves watched by tides in their sleep.”
