Weapons3

A stout, well-balanced warhammer forged in the mountain style. Heavy head, short haft—excellent for close combat and smithing work.

A common longsword with a heat-tempered edge and brass inlays to resist wear from steam-corroding ores.

Edge resists rust; reduces weapon degradation in extreme conditions (flavor only).

A compact crossbow with a brass cylinder reservoir and clockwork winding mechanism. Fires 5 bolts before rewinding.

Can make up to 5 rapid shots (at normal attack roll) before requiring a short action to rewind; delicate mechanism—requires tinkerer for repairs.
Armor2

A mid-grade chain shirt with rivets of polished brass to protect joints while allowing steam vents to function.

AC +13

Heavy plates with brass vents and a small, refillable condenser that cools the wearer and vents steam when overheating.

AC +15Once per long rest, wearer can activate vents to gain advantage on saving throws vs. effects that cause exhaustion for 1 minute.
Miscellaneous5

A kit of brass plates, steambolts, and flexible seals used to retrofit heavy armor for enhanced durability and a faint hiss of steam.

When installed by a proficient smith, provides +1 temporary restoration to an existing suit of heavy armor (DM fiat).

A thick, amber oil favored by smiths and clockwrights to smooth gears and quiet joints.

Used to grant advantage on a single check to repair or quiet a mechanical device. Also can be used to douse small flames (flavor).

A mixed box of steel bolts and nails, some brass-headed for decorative work.

Heavy horseshoes with grooves to accept grease so beasts keep traction on oily workshop floors.

Patented twin-lensed goggles with adjustable filters to shield eyes from sparks and steam glare.

Grants advantage on Perception checks relying on sight in smoky or steam-filled environments. Low-light assistance included.
Miscellaneous1

A finely balanced warhammer with a core channel for a tiny steam injector. Glows faintly at the strike point and hums when gripped.

Atk This is a +1 weapon. Once per short rest, on hit the wielder can unleash a scorching steam burst that deals an extra fire damage.
Miscellaneous1

A finely crafted prosthetic hand of brass and steel with micro-gears, offering dexterous movement and a small built-in toolset.

Grants advantage on Sleight of Hand checks made to manipulate small objects; contains a tiny retractable toolkit giving a bonus to Smith's Tools checks when used.
Miscellaneous1

A thin rune etched into a plate and charged with simple restorative magic to mend non-magical metal (temporary reinforcement).

Applied to an object; repairs up to 20 HP of non-magical metal items or provides +1 repair bonus for 24 hours.
Miscellaneous1

A round shield with interlocking plates and a small built-in smoke condenser that disperses a choking cloud when shattered intentionally.

AC +2Provides +1 to AC (counts as +1 shield). Once per long rest, the bearer can shatter the condenser to release smoke: 15-foot cone, lightly obscured for 1 minute (save Constitution or be blinded for 1 round). The shield is disabled and must be repaired after use.

Shop Atmosphere

Bromli insists customers remove heavy cloaks before entering — he dislikes flammable fabrics near the anvil. He frequently hums old dwarven steam-songs as he works; his mechanical pet raven (tinkered from scrap) follows him and occasionally steals shiny coin and tiny metal bits. He'll haggle on non-magical goods if you trade scrap metal or tools; magical items require a deposit and a waiting period while he calibrates runes.
