Shop Atmosphere
“Miri is acutely curious and habitually asks three personal questions before finalizing a sale — the 'Three Tails of Trust'. She keeps a stack of student essays behind the counter and will barter services (repairs, identification, errands) for rare reagents. She lives in the tiny backroom above the shop and often falls asleep mid-conversation; awake she is relentless about lab cleanliness and labeling. Rare items (marked 'Friends Only' in her ledger) are only sold to those who complete errands for her, bring recommendations from a faculty member in the Academic District, or perform a small favor for the shop — petty theft from rival vendors is an immediate ban. As a tabaxi, she is playful and fond of giving small catnip pouches to children and companions she likes.”
