Weapons4

A dented shortsword whose edge has been carefully re-sharpened. Still serviceable for a few good strikes.

Slight corrosion - after every 10 hits, weapon requires a successful Constitution save or suffer -1 to damage until repaired.

A cramped, half-polished crossbow assembled from caravan parts. Comes with one bolt loaded and three spare bolts.

Fires normally; must be carefully maintained—failure to maintain () after heavy use results in misfire.

A strip of leather holding five bolts wrapped in ashen cloth and marked with crude runes.

Atk On a hit, once per long rest the wielder can force the target to make a Wisdom save or take an extra psychic damage and be disoriented (disadvantage on next attack roll).

An irregular polearm hammered from scrap, surprisingly balanced for sweeping strikes.

On a critical hit, target must succeed on Strength save or be knocked prone.
Armor1

Layered leather with scrap-metal patches riveted inside. Bulky and smells faintly of oil.

AC +12Grants advantage on checks to resist piercing from improvised or small-caliber projectiles once per short rest.
Miscellaneous7

Thick-soled boots with treaded iron inserts and stitched-in silences to keep grit out.

Advantage on checks to move across rubble, broken glass, or hot surfaces; +5 ft movement on difficult terrain.

An oiled leather canteen with a small internal charcoal filter. Promises safer water for days in the wasteland.

Filters contaminated water; drinking non-magical polluted water through it removes disease-causing effects (not magical curses or poisons) once per day.

A battered lantern with a soot-proof glass and a wind-sheilding hood. Burns clear for up to 8 hours per pint of oil.

Creates bright light in a 30-foot radius, dim for an additional 30 feet; smoke-free so doesn't reveal position as much as open flame.

A tattered portion of a larger map showing paths between sink-hollows and a crude 'X' over a ruined outpost.

Grants advantage on Navigation/Survival checks to traverse the immediate area on the map; hints at minor secret cache (requires investigation).

A dark iron ring inlaid with a tiny, cloudy gem. Tempered to ward small shocks.

AC +1Grants bonus to AC as a constant effect (counts as a magical ring).

A mixed pouch of odds and ends: buttons, a broken locket, a glass eye, a brass gear, and a folded scrap with a name.

Contains one item of minor use (DM discretion) — possible components, a clue, or a 50% chance of being worthless junk.

A brittle scroll that carries a single casting of a localized gust/dust-control effect useful in the wasteland.

When read, casts a 1st-level spell that creates a 15-foot-radius dome of clearer air for 1 minute, granting concealment penalties to ranged attackers outside the dome.
Potions1

A murky amber vial, cork sealed and labeled in a messy hand.

Heal 4 HPRestores HP when consumed (standard 5e effect).

Shop Atmosphere

The shop is a low-slung shelter half-buried in ochre sand, roof sagging under a tangle of scavenged canvas, rusted metal, and bones. A kerosene-scented haze and the clink of metal threads every moment. Items are arranged in heaps by 'value'—a single coin, a useful strap, then expensive things buried underneath newspapers and a petrified jackal pelt. Mrauk haggles loudly and collects unusual items in exchange; he keeps a locked chest of higher-tier goods (only available to trusted customers or after a rumor/quest). He counts currency by rubbing coins against a whetstone while telling a mismatched anecdote about where he found each item.
