Hilda Stoneforge
Shop Atmosphere
“The shop smells of coal, oil and hot metal. Hilda is almost always found hammering a piece of metal while humming an old dwarven tune; she offers a mug of black tea to anyone willing to listen to her stories of 'the one that survived the forge'. She collects broken small keys and keeps them in a wooden jar behind the counter—customers say she can make a key for anything (for a price). Hilda will haggle lightly with adventurers who can show proof of recent deeds (battle scars, monster teeth), but she refuses to sell certain fiery items to customers who refuse to swear they won't use them for arson. If a PC brings her an unusual metal or magical residue, she'll offer either a modest reward or a trade in services rather than straight coin.”
