A stout, well-forged handaxe, useful as a tool or weapon. Typical blacksmith work from Palebank.

A versatile spear for hunting and defense. Common among village hunters.

A common short sword, serviceable and light. Favored by scouts and hunters.

A solid longsword forged from Palebank iron. Heavy enough to be effective, not ornate.

Palebank Icebrand, a lightly enchanted longsword forged in ice-tempered steel. Rare in the village but prized by hunters who track winter beasts.

Atk Magic weapon +1. In snowy or icy conditions the blade sheds dim cold light. On a critical hit deals an extra cold damage.

Snow-Tempered Handaxe. Not magical but crafted specially to resist cracking in the deep cold.

Takes half damage to brittle/freeze environmental effects; grips do not stiffen in freezing weather.

Frost-Edge Throwing Spear. A favored tool for trappers. The spear's edge carries a chill that bites into hides.

“The Palebank Frostforge sits low against the lee side of the village, its roof rimmed in rime. Steam fogs the windows in bitter weather and the bellows hiss like a sleeping thing. Soot traces the doorway and a carved polar-bear crest hangs above the lintel. Marta Coldiron keeps a shallow basin of warm water by the door for travelers to warm numb hands. She sings old forging rhymes in a low voice when hammering, and will quip about the weather whenever a customer lingers. Marta refuses to use coal-smoked oil on anything meant for hunting in the snows; she insists on a special sealing wax made from tallow and spruce resin. The forge also serves as the village meeting place on storm nights; Marta offers discounted repairs to any militia member on duty.”
