(22)A well-balanced military-grade longsword, blade polished and edge kept keen by regular whetting. Typical of city militia issue.
A longsword with a faint rune along the fuller. Thardin keeps these at a premium—he sources the enchantments through old contacts.
Solid-headed warhammer with an iron banded wooden haft favored by hammer-blow craftsmen. Perfect for crushing armor.
A brutal two-handed axe. Stonegrit will custom-size the haft and counterweight for larger wielders (Worldrage/Torrik sized).
A fine shortsword with its edge silvered—suitable for fiend or lycanthrope concerns. Silvering adds +100 gp to base price.
A standard heavy crossbow with iron stirrups and seasoned stock. Comes with a basic bolt box (20 bolts).
Longsword with a silvered edge. Stock item for sailors and wardens who face supernatural threats in the docks.
A scarce combination: a +1 warhammer that has been silvered along its beak and face—useful against a wide swath of foes. Thardin produced only one; he may part with it for the right price or favor.
A stout round shield of layered hardwood bound in iron. Painted with the Stonegrit dock-mark if requested.
A magically tempered shield that grants a flat +1 to AC and counts as magical for resisting spells and attacks.
Interlocked iron rings riveted to leather. Heavy and noisy but reliable—typical heavy armor for frontline fighters.
Rows of iron plates welded to a padded under-suit. Stonegrit’s dwarven forging makes it more compact and durable than common splint.
Full plate forged from heavy steel plates. It offers the best non-magical protection available from a human-forge.
Plate armor crafted to dwarven patterns: extra rivets, reinforced joints, and subtly runed bracing. Excellent for heavy infantry.
Full plate patterned and scaled to fit large-sized folk. Reforged proportions, heavier braces, and extended cuirass.
Thick padded gambeson used beneath armor or as light protection on its own. Salt-treated for dock use.
Basic maintenance kit: coarse and fine stones, cloth, and a small bottle of blacksmith oil.
Thorn-forged hammer with balanced head and a matched set of tongs. Thardin insists on selling proper tools to proper hands.
A small hammered medallion with a worn rune. Thardin keeps it behind the counter; he occasionally sells one as a lucky charm.
On-the-spot repairs: re-riveting, edge re-tempering, wood haft replacement. Larger repairs take more time.
Thardin can paint, emboss, or lightly engrave a crest into metalwork—docking charges apply for colored pigments.
Full measurement and patterning to ensure armor fits properly. Required for all heavy orders—Thardin insists on a proper fit.

Shop Atmosphere
“Built into the stone wall of the Docks District, the forge's mouth is framed by a carved sea-worn dwarven face. Thardin Stonegrit—scarred, stout, and one hand replaced by a prosthetic steel hand—runs the shop. He speaks in short, gruff sentences and polishes every blade with the same ritualistic care. He has a soft spot for large-sized folk, offering custom fitting that others refuse. Thardin claims to have once heard a tale (or a vision) about Oren's past life as a dragon; he hums an old dwarven stave when recounting it and treats anyone with dragon ties with a mixture of awe and wary respect. He stocks +1 arms and shields but at a stout markup unless you pay in favored trade (ore, dragon lore, or a story that pleases him). Trades, favors, and earning his trust can lower prices or net special commissions.”
