Miscellaneous9

A simple, well-forged ring of polished silver. Common as tokens and wedding bands in Thraben.

A sturdy silver ring cut with room for a family crest or a civic seal; the face is pre-flattened for engraving.

Commissions for custom engraving cost 5 gp plus metalwork time.

A pale, opalescent gem that catches Thraben's ghost-white light and seems to glow faintly under moonlight.

Favored for funerary jewelry and charms against nightmares; clerics sometimes bless them.

A deep garnet the color of dried blood; popular in mourning jewelry and Thraben brooches.

A flawless blue gem prized by the clergy for devotionals and wealthy Thraben households.

Used by ritualists as a focus when channeling calm or clarity rituals; no mechanical bonus by itself.

A hand-sized silver disk stamped with Avacyn's stylized angelic sigil; consecrated at purchase.

Clerics and paladins may use as a holy symbol; local priests will bless it free of charge once.

A small silver-backed mirror. Reflections in the glass seem sharper at night.

Aids in identifying illusions: grants +2 on a single Investigation or Arcana check to discern an illusion's nature when used (once per day).

A small oak box lined with velvet and carved with protective runes; several felt-lined compartments for gems and relics.

Tweezers, files, polishing cloths, a loupe and small melting tools—enough to set gems and perform light repair.

Potions1

A clear vial of red liquid. Heals the drinker when consumed.

Heal 7 HPStandard Potion of Healing: heals HP (healingAmount is the average).
Miscellaneous2

A rosary strung with small hematite beads and a silver center-piece carved with praying wings.

Once per long rest, the wearer can end the frightened condition on themselves as a bonus action.

A small locket that opens to reveal a painted eye set over polished glass. It hums faintly in gloom.

While worn, the bearer gains +2 to passive Perception and advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made in dim light or shadow once per short rest.
Weapons1

A sharp dagger with a garnet set into the pommel and silver filigree along its blade. Functional as a weapon or decorative when sheathed.

Well-balanced, grants a +1 to Sleight of Hand checks involving small objects when used as a tool.
Miscellaneous1

A finely tempered dagger with a silver blade inlaid with a thin line of moonstone; whispers of the chapel seem to cling to it.

Atk Against undead, the dagger deals an additional radiant damage. Uncommon. Requires attunement.
Miscellaneous1

A heavy silver clasp that fastens a cloak; its edges are engraved with tiny crosses and watchful eyes.

AC +1While worn and attuned, grants +1 to AC and +1 to saving throws.
Miscellaneous1

A small, ornate reliquary rumored to contain a splinter of a saint's cross and faintly warm to the touch. Kept in the locked cabinet unless the buyer is vouched for.

Said to grant comfort to the faithful and to repel unholy entities in its immediate vicinity (stories only; the Sanctum will require a clerical appraisal before accepting any claims of power).

Shop Atmosphere

The Silver Sanctum sits beneath a pointed roof and stained-glass windows that cast ghostly light across counters of ashwood and black marble. Sister Marielle runs the shop with a soft voice and a hard eye—she polishes each piece in the morning with holy water and murmured prayers to Avacyn. The bell above the door is a chipped iron cross; in the evenings the shopkeeper locks the main door and keeps the counter lamp lit. She dislikes flashy secular displays and will refuse to set gems into anything she judges profane; she will, however, exchange or appraise curios for free once to anyone who brings a letter from a Thraben parish. Locals say she once aided the night watch by gifting a blessed bolt to a pious archer; she never speaks of it, but she watches customers with a tenderness that can feel like a blessing or an admonishment depending on a buyer's bearing.
