Miscellaneous2

A one-person, bipedal light mech crafted from hammered bronze and lacquered ebony, adorned with scarab motifs. Designed for desert scouting and courier work. Includes pilot harness and basic control interface.

Atk AC +13Sandskimmer: gains advantage on checks to move over sand and ignores difficult terrain from loose sand. Scarab Cloak: once per short rest, can emit a cloud of glittering dust to grant half cover to the pilot and mech (as half-cover for 1 minute).

A two-person heavy chassis meant for battlefield use. Stout bronze plates, uraeus-headed prow, reinforced limb servos. Sold as a frame: weapons, power core, and pilot consoles sold separately or custom-installed.

Atk AC +16Sand-Anchor Stabilizers: can brace to become immovable for up to 10 minutes once per long rest. Built-in scaffolding for mounting ballistae or siege arms.
Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized beetle-shaped brass reactor that provides stable arcane energy for automatons and mechs. Emits a faint amber glow and a warm hum.

Provides enough energy to power a Scarab-Frame Scout Mech for 24 hours of normal use (or 8 hours of continuous combat use). Can be recharged at workbench for 100 gp and 1 day.
Miscellaneous1

Leather-and-bronze harness with sigiled straps and integrated control filigree. Increases pilot feedback and control over mech movements.

AC +1When worn by a pilot, provides +1 to attack rolls made by the mech and grants the pilot advantage on checks to maintain control under stress (saving throws to avoid being dismounted, etc.).
Miscellaneous1

Sheets of beaten bronze used to repair or armor mech frames. Decorative but functional, commonly inlaid with protective glyphs.

AC +1Adds +1 defenseRating to any mech frame per 30 sq. ft. installed (stacks but mass and mobility penalties may apply).
Miscellaneous2

A mechanical arm mountable to most mech frames. Built for lifting, grappling, or wielding weapons; filigreed with ankhs.

Atk When used to grapple, the mech gains advantage on grapple attempts. Can wield one one-handed weapon (imposes -1 to mech speed while equipped if weapon weight > 15 lb).

A reinforced bronze ram sculpted as a rearing jackal head for mounting to the front of a mech or chariot. Excellent for breaking through barricades or charging foes.

Atk On a successful charge (moving at least 20 ft straight toward target), deals bonus damage and forces a Strength save or knock prone.
Miscellaneous1

A set of gyroscopes and articulating joints keeping mech balance on shifting dunes and during rapid maneuvers.

AC +1Grants advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks to maintain balance and reduces chance of falling prone when hit by effects that would knock the mech down.
Miscellaneous1

Copper tubing and arcane coolant for preventing overheating in high-temperature environments.

When installed, mech ignores penalties from extreme heat and takes only half damage from effects that deal fire damage from ambient heat (DM adjudication).
Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized clockwork helper that can carry small items, deliver messages, and perform simple tasks. Shaped like a lotus or beetle and often given as good luck token.

AC +10Performs simple tasks as the Help action. Has 1 HP per CR 0 construct rules and can be repaired with tinker's tools (20 gp parts).
Miscellaneous1

A brass monocle with a polished obsidian lens. When integrated into a mech's targeting array or worn by a pilot, it enhances ranged accuracy and target recognition.

Atk Grants +1 to attack rolls made from a mech's ranged weapon systems or by a pilot using firearm/crossbow while wearing it. Once per long rest, can cast faerie fire (as 1st-level, save ).
Miscellaneous1

A comprehensive toolset for emergency field repairs: chisels, small anvil, spare gears, binding resin, and glyph-patches.

Grants advantage on Intelligence (Tinker's Tools) or Wisdom (Survival) checks to repair a mech during short rests. Can restore HP to a damaged mech per hour of work with appropriate parts.
Miscellaneous1

A small scarab amulet set in gold, inscribed with protective prayers. Bestows temporary resilience to pilot and mech.

AC +2Once per long rest, when the pilot would be reduced to 0 HP while inside a mech, the talisman expends its power to instead drop the pilot to 1 HP and grant the mech 10 temporary HP for 1 minute.
Miscellaneous1

Oils, lubricants, spare screws, and cleaning rags sufficient for one day of basic mech upkeep. Sold by the crate or singly.

Routine maintenance avoids cumulative penalties from wear; neglect for 7 days imposes -1 to mech effectiveness until repaired.

Shop Atmosphere

Khepri's Brassworks smells of warm oil and myrrh. Sekhet greets clients by pressing a small bronze scarab token into their palm — a courtesy that slightly warms if the client is a trustworthy sorts (he uses a hidden detect alignment charm). He insists that all commission work be accompanied by tea and a story; refuses to install offensive weaponry on sacred relic-replicas. The workshop is organized around a central sundial that also doubles as a timing contraption for mech tests; it chimes three times before any prototype may leave the shop.
