Shop Atmosphere
“The Brass Lantern General Store sits on a slightly crooked street near the town gate. Shelves are stamped with price tags written in a looping hand. The owner keeps a cat named Patch that sits on the counter and inspects coin. Bram keeps the shop tidy but cramped; goods crowd every table and the ceiling rafters hang bundles of rope, dried herbs, and a few simple masks. Bram gives a small discount to repeat customers and will often accept trade goods or work in lieu of coin for mundane supplies. He refuses to buy stolen goods and will flatly refuse anyone who smells of blood until they have washed. On market days he offers a free lantern hire for a day if you buy three days of rations.”
