Potions6

A thick, slate-gray potion that crystallizes briefly on the lip of the vial. Grants the drinker temporary stony resilience.

AC +2For 1 hour, the drinker gains a bonus to AC and resistance to bludgeoning damage. If reduced to 0 HP while under the effect, make a CON save or be restrained by crystallized growth for 1 round.

A vial of oily, obsidian liquid that seems to shimmer like petrified eyes. Enhances perception and can lock a target's gaze.

When consumed, grants advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and darkvision out to 60 ft for 8 hours (if you already have darkvision, its range increases by 30 ft). Additionally, once while the effect lasts the user can attempt to cast 'Hold Person' as a 2nd-level spell (CHA save ) as an action.

A fizzy greenish brew strained through scales. Light on the tongue, heavy on results.

Heal 2 HPGrants featherfall for 24 hours and reduces falling damage by an additional 20 (if any remains). Heals 2 HP when drunk. The user can activate featherfall as a reaction once in that period without expending a spell slot.

Dark, metallic-tasting liquid that fills the veins with concentrated stone-laced strength.

Atk For 1 minute, the drinker gains +1 to attack rolls and deals an extra bludgeoning damage on melee weapon attacks. The user also gains advantage on Strength checks.

A standard remedy for common venoms and low-grade toxins.

Grants advantage on saving throws against poison for 1 hour. Neutralizes 1 level of poisonous condition effects (DM discretion).

A dark, mildly sweet draught to induce restful sleep in chaotic markets.

Induces sleep (as short rest benefits) allowing creatures to regain hit dice normally over a 1-hour nap. May cause vivid stone-dreams (harmless but unsettling).
Miscellaneous12

A glass sphere of molten light that smolders without flame. Toss to create a burst of searing, gritty fire.

Thrown (range 20/60). On impact it explodes in a 5-foot radius. Creatures in the area take fire damage (Dex save for half). Surfaces struck become blackened and temporarily brittle (DM rulings).

A pinch of coarse, gray powder harvested from the shelled remains of petrified insects. Dangerous and tightly regulated.

When thrown into a 5-foot square and dispersed (action), creatures in the square must succeed on a Constitution save or be slowed (movement halved) and begin to calcify: at the end of each of its turns it takes psychic damage as joints stiffen. If a creature fails three saves, it becomes petrified (DM should adjudicate permanent or reversible with greater restoration).

A tin of thick, shimmering balm that closes minor wounds and soothes bruises and burns.

Heal 1 HPApplies as a bonus action to restore HP (uses: 10 applications per tin). Heals minor scarring for 24 hours.

A compact sphere that detonates with a concussive blast resembling a gargoyle's wing-beat.

Thrown (20/60). On impact, creatures in a 10-foot cone take thunder damage (Dex save for half) and must succeed on a STR save or be pushed 10 feet and knocked prone.

A squat vial that, when uncorked, emits a sulfurous, silvery cloud that clings to surfaces.

Creates a 10-foot radius heavily obscured area for 1 minute. Creatures in the cloud with a nose for magic may suffer disadvantage on Perception checks. Inhalation imposes a single CON save or cough (disadvantage on attacks for 1 round).

A jar of gritty paste applied to leather or metal to grant a faint stony resilience and sheen.

AC +1When applied over 1 hour to a suit of medium or light armor, grants bonus to AC for 24 hours and provides advantage on saves vs. fear once. Lasts for 24 hours.

A high-grade alchemist's fire formulated to burn hotter and cling to armor like smoldering lava.

On hit, initial fire (Dex for half). Target continues to take fire at the start of its turns until extinguished (Athletics or appropriate action, ).

A palm-sized stone inset with tiny metal teeth that hum when stroked across a blade.

Once per day, when used to sharpen a bladed weapon (10 minutes), it grants a +1 to attack rolls with that weapon for 24 hours.

A small bottle of mineral-rich saline used to rinse eyes, clean wounds, or calm breathing.

Heals 1 HP if applied to a wound (single use). Grants advantage on one saving throw against inhaled poisons or mild toxins within 10 minutes of application.

Powdered incense sold in little cones; emits a dry, mineral fragrance when burned.

When burned, any creature that sleeps within 10 feet falls into a deep sleep (as the Sleep spell) for up to 1 hour if they fail a Wis save. Works reliably on beasts and humanoids below average HP.

A tiny carved gargoyle figurine that seems to shift posture in moonlight.

Cosmetic only. Some patrons swear it brings a day of good luck (no mechanical effect unless DM allows).

A flake of genuine gargoyle stone, useful as an arcane or alchemical component.

Usable as a material component for spells or potions requiring petrified matter. No direct mechanical benefit unless a ritual or spell requires it.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop overflows with jars, vials, and hanging cured gargoyle hide—scented smoke wafts constantly from a dozen burners. Varrik shouts long, boastful monologues about his superior methods and rare imports, then offers a theatrical demonstration (free) that always involves a small puff of glittering dust. He keeps a ledger by the door for buyers of dangerous goods and insists on eye contact and a fingerprint when you purchase restricted items. A pair of lifelike stone gargoyles flanks the counter and occasionally reposition themselves when no one is watching (Varrik claims 'they help keep the stock honest').
