The shop constantly emits soft pops and fizzles; Merris hums old gnomish nursery songs while she works and insists customers call her 'Fizz' at least once to avoid bad luck. A tame copperhead snake (harmlessly alchemical) named 'Bubbles' lounges in a glass terrarium and will try to sell you recipes if you offer it a sweet treat. Merris will refuse to sell Mercurial Flash to anyone she suspects is 'planning to perform in a hall of kings' and offers a free cup of spiced tea with purchases over 100 gp.
