Weapons3

A well-balanced longsword with a narrow plasma filiment running along the blade's edge. Humms faintly when drawn. Counts as a longsword and deals slashing damage with extra energy burn.

Atk On hit, target takes an extra fire (plasma burn). Can be recharged with an energy cell (see inventory) after ~1000 strikes or 10 hours continuous use.

A compact sidearm that fires concentrated ion bursts. Lightweight and popular among spacers for one-handed use.

Ammunition: ion cell (included, 10 shots). On a critical hit, target must succeed a Constitution save or be stunned until the end of its next turn.

A slender dueling blade that uses a condensed plasma filament — deadly in single combat and favored by spacers with refined tastes.

Atk Parrying: once per short rest, when you use the Attack action, you can expend the parry to add +2 to AC against a single melee attack before it hits.
Armor4

Scale mail forged from meteorite-infused steel. It carries a faint starlight sheen and resists cosmic corrosion.

AC +14Slight resistance to radiant damage (once per short rest, reduce radiant damage by 3).

A durable cloak lined with micro-filament weave. Keeps wearer comfortable in thin air and blocks minor particulate abrasion.

AC +11Grants advantage on saves vs. inhaled poisons and environmental particulate hazards. Not protective against full vacuum without harness.

A heavy, round shield made from layered star-steel and kinetic dampeners. Lightweight for its size, and hums soothingly against motion sickness.

AC +2When wielded, grants +1 to AC (in addition to the shield's +2). Once per long rest, can absorb a single incoming ranged attack, granting the wielder resistance to that attack's damage.

Lightweight greaves with kinetic stabilizers and gyroscopic joints that aid balance and swift movement over uneven decks.

AC +1Grants +1 to AC (magic item). Once per short rest, can grant advantage on a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check or a saving throw to avoid falling.

Small cylindrical power cell used to recharge weapons and small devices. Lasts ~100 charges for typical sidearms.

Can be used to recharge plasma blades or ion pistols. Recharges fully if left on Kiri's forge for 1 hour (service charge applies).

Leather-and-metal gauntlet with an integrated micro-welder useful for repairs and small construction tasks.

Gives advantage on tool checks when repairing metal objects with appropriate tools. Can deliver a fire touch if used offensively (unstable and not advised).

A compact set containing precision tools, conductive filaments, bonding gels and micro-actuators for delicate machinery and weapons.

Grants +2 to checks to repair or jury-rig small mechanical or electronic devices when used with appropriate tool proficiency.

Magnetic-hungry bolts used in crossbows and mag-throwers. Improve hold on armored targets with metallic plating.

When used against targets wearing metal armor, deal +1 damage. Can jam in non-metal surfaces causing a -1 penalty to the next attack to retrieve.

A spring-assisted launcher that can project a grappling hook up to 60 feet. Good for boarding actions and ship-to-ship work.

Hooks into stone, wood, and metal; difficult to secure into fluid surfaces. Requires a Strength (Athletics) check to hold a 300 lb load.

A syringe-like vial containing a translucent serum that jogs the nervous system back into equilibrium.

Heal 2 HPHeals hit points when administered. If used on a creature under a movement-hindering effect, grants +5 ft movement for 1 minute.

The shop sits in a converted service tunnel beneath the orbital market; the ceiling is studded with tiny fiber-optic 'stars' that dim and brighten with the forge's fires. Kiri hums old ship maintenance shanties as she works, and will barter repair time for tasty oil (or fresh rations) although she never eats them — she collects them. Customers must pass a short magnetic scanner at the door to avoid accidental sparking; Kiri will fondly comment on any piece of gear that bears a dent from a famous skirmish, and offers free calibration with any purchase if you can tell her a credible tale from spacefaring life.
