(15)A small glass vial of shimmering red liquid. The classic healing potion, easy to apply in a pinch.
A slightly larger ruby vial; favored by front-line fighters and cautious clerics.
A well-balanced +1 longsword. The runes along the fuller glow faintly when drawn in moonlight.
A polished wooden wand banded in iron runes. Warm to the touch and often humming faintly.
A midnight-blue cloak with a silver clasp. Light as smoke but comfortable to the touch.
A small shield rimed with a thin weave of argent thread. Feels perfectly balanced.
A scarf woven from a midnight fiber; Grendal claims the thread was plucked from a storm-wren's nest. It is cozy and faintly humming.
A stout canvas satchel stitched with faint runes. Its mouth looks small, its belly impossible.
A narrow ring of pale metal inscribed with a single protective rune.
A parchment rolled and sealed with black wax; runic sigils run along the margin.
A brass lantern whose flame is trapped beneath crystal. The flame smells faintly of jasmine.
A damp-stained quill wrapped with a sliver of moonstone; more useful for scribes than swordsmen.
A thimble-sized vial of slow-swirling silver powder. Grendal sells these in small batches to other workshops.
A frost-touched scrap of vellum sealed with a blue bead. Cold fog wreaths it when unsealed.
Grendal will take a mundane weapon and, for the stated fee and the proper component, temper it with short-lived magic. The weapon's rune fades after the period ends.

Shop Atmosphere
“Grendal looks eighty in the face but moves with the surety of someone who has practiced arcane gestures for a lifetime. He keeps a battered wind-up music box that plays an unfamiliar lullaby; it is never wound yet never silent. He will enchant or craft on request but prices are nonnegotiable unless the buyer brings rare components or a favor. He insists customers remove boots before stepping onto the shop's chalked circle and will occasionally test a newly forged item by tapping it against a copper coin while closing his eyes.”
