(20)A neatly scribed scroll containing the cantrip Guidance. Useful for skill checks and short rituals of preparation.
A parchment scroll with marginalia pointing out traces of sigils and ley-lines. Marked as a ritual.
Old ink, the script rings faintly with sorrow. Useful to question a recently deceased mind for brief answers.
A heavy vellum scroll sealed with a small iron ring. The script is written in a protective hand.
A protective prayer rendered in silver ink. Popular with pilgrims ascending to the temples.
A weighty leather-bound volume containing regional cult practices, rites, and organizational charts of Tiamat-worshipers.
A thin, illustrated book used by temple diviners. Charts, star-maps, and sign interpretations are included.
A scholarly paper on the magic of names among fiends and infernal bargains; includes fragments of rituals connected to names.
A heavily annotated codex; Levera's notes are in the margins (illegible handwriting but legible by touch to her).
A short, encrypted tract only partially translated by Levera. Mentions a name used as a sigil and a location 'beneath the triple bell'.
A torn map piece showing a route beneath the western hill and a penciled note 'sealed vault — Gargalon?'.
Two pages, ink faded. Mentions donations to a 'Gargalon ward' and shipment of 'black iron'.
Simple bound pages favored by field researchers. Acid-resistant and faintly scented with lavender.
Deep-black ink that resists fading. Preferred by copyists of the Second Tome.
A folded sermon fragment railing against draconic avatars. Mentions Tiamat in passing and a 'Gargalon' scapegoat.
A tiny packet with a salt-stained rune; hangs on a string. Provides comfort to the superstitious.
Levera places her hand upon the object and 'reads' its echoes. Not instantaneous—takes 10 minutes per item.
Levera touches a text and murmurs as she translates; she cannot make others speak the language.
Levera will perform a single ritual in-shop for a vetted client. Requires conditions to be met (corpse, consent, any offerings).
Levera or an apprentice can copy a page faithfully. Complex ciphers may cost extra or require time.

“Levera is a blind tiefling who 'reads' by touch and arcane resonance: she places her palm on paper and hums softly to interpret. She speaks in soft, clipped sentences and uses incense to clear her mind; dust unsettles her patience. She is unusually intrigued by Zebulon's fiendish aura and will offer a free, cryptic one-line insight into the name 'Gargalon' to him (or anyone she deems connected), phrased as a riddle rather than an exposition. Levera dislikes hasty buyers and will request a short vow—spoken or written—before revealing dangerous lore. She occasionally swaps items for favors (research, retrieving a lost folio, or a service to the nearby temples) rather than gold.”
