Shop Atmosphere
“The temple sits at the pier where gulls fight over spilled incense. Inside, salted ropes and netting hang alongside votive models of ships. The cleric who runs it, Father Marek, is a broad-shouldered human who keeps his hair tied back with a strip of sailcloth. He hums sea shanties while he works, tithes any coin found washed up on the quay into the donation chest and accepts small offerings of fish if gold is scarce. He will haggle for mundane goods but never for rites or a proper blessing. He makes a point of writing a short prayer in the ledger for each sale and often offers a short whispered prayer to any who ask for safe passage.”
