“The Brass Basilisk smells faintly of citrus and singed sage. Pip Tinkertoe talks to his flasks and often absentmindedly 'borrows' small shiny things to test in concoctions (he always leaves a curious ribbon or a carefully folded note in their place). He insists all sales come with a 'safety story' about the people of Krynn and the cautionary use of potions—often three versions for children, merchants, and Solamnic knights. The counter is cluttered with tiny basilisk figurines; touching them without permission earns a theatrical tut and a free peppermint vial.”
