Potions2

A small crystalline phial with a faintly pulsing rune on its stopper. Heals wounds when consumed.

Heal 7 HPCommon healing potion. The rune on the stopper glows brighter when near undead.

Thicker red liquid; the rune inside spins once when uncorked. Potent restorative.

Heal 14 HPStronger healing than common potions. Slight bitter aftertaste.
Weapons2

A long, tempered blade etched with pale runes that hum faintly when danger is near.

Atk The runes flare when critical hits or danger are imminent—user gets a bonus to Investigation checks to detect traps while wielding.

A balanced handaxe with a ring of runes near the haft. When thrown it whistles back to the thrower once.

When thrown, the axe automatically returns to the wielder's hand after its attack if the wielder uses a bonus action to call it.
Armor1

Dark leather studded with faintly glowing runes; light and supple, it seems to shift shadows around the wearer.

AC +1Grants +1 to AC in addition to normal studded leather calculations. Runic shimmer grants advantage on Stealth checks in dim light once per short rest.
Miscellaneous6

A palm-sized black stone with a carved sigil. Set it into a surface and break to trigger the ward.

When triggered acts like a simplified 3rd-level glyph of warding: either explosive force ( force in 10-ft radius) or a binding glyph (save or be paralyzed for 1 round). Single use.

An innocuous-looking sack with a faint circular rune at its mouth. Holds far more than it appears.

Standard Bag of Holding properties: 250 lb capacity, 64 cu. ft., doesn’t weigh more than 15 lb. Contents safe from casual detection.

A brass monocle with a sliver of smoky crystal veined with rune-light.

3 charges per day: each charge casts detect magic (concentration up to 10 minutes). Regains charges at dawn.

Standard climbing rope. Clean, serviceable, wrapped with a single visible rune knot for easy gripping.

The rune grip grants advantage on checks to tie knots or secure a hold once per hour.

Pack of small chalk sticks. Perfect for marking rune templates, traps, or doors.

Marks fade after 24 hours unless consecrated by a ritual.

A small glass vial with a silver-threaded cork. Useful for reagents, inks, and distillations.

Miscellaneous1

An azure rune tattoo that slithers softly along the skin and grants sudden quickness.

Once per long rest, the wearer may gain +10 ft movement speed for 1 hour. The rune fades to grey for the rest of the day after use.
Miscellaneous1

A compact kit of obsidian stylus, powdered silver, ground bone, amber oil, and threaded copper wire—everything needed to etch basic runes.

Provides proficiency advantage (if used with skill) when attempting to carve or copy runes; some runes require rare reagents sold separately.
Miscellaneous1

A tightly rolled parchment with compact runes; can be read to cast the bound 3rd-level spell once.

Spell on scroll changes—typical effects include silence-variants, binding seals, or defensive runes (DM's choice if sold to PCs). Single use.
Miscellaneous1

A small carved bone disk with a weeping rune. Looks useful to anyone dealing in secrets.

When kept, the bearer finds themselves compelled to whisper secrets once per day; a Will save () avoids blurting. If secrets cause harm, the item feeds on the guilt.
Miscellaneous1

Ten crossbow bolts with faint blue runes dipped in silver ink; each hums faintly.

Atk Each bolt acts as a +1 projectile. On a critical hit, the rune flares and deals an extra force damage.
Miscellaneous1

A sealed obsidian jar lined with braided silver runes. It seems to hum when spirits pass nearby.

When conditions are met (victim dies within 5 ft. while jar is open and attuned), the jar can hold a Small or Tiny creature's soul. Held souls can be queried once per day for information (limited answers). Dangerous and illegal in many jurisdictions.

Shop Atmosphere

Ivarr speaks to his tools and occasionally answers questions through a ring of runes on the counter; he never sells two identical runed items to the same buyer without a 'favor' clause. The shop is hidden behind a false meat stall and only opens after you give the agreed knock—customers must leave a name sigil carved into the ledger (sometimes binding). He prefers barter of secrets, relics, or rare materials over coin and keeps a locked 'forbidden chest' of goods for particularly daring or well-connected buyers.
