The shop's bellows squeal in a gifthand rhythm each hour as a mark of the owner finishing a batch; Garron whistles a simple dirge while working. Customers are given a small splinter of oak as a token when they commission work. Garron keeps a carved wooden apprentice's token behind the counter that he taps to measure time when debating a price.
