Potions3

A bitter, greenish liquid in a stoppered vial. Taken immediately after a poison exposure, it helps steady the body.

Using the vial grants advantage on saving throws against poison for 1 hour (single use).

A warm, red potion that mends flesh.

Heal 7 HPRestores HP (average 7).

A black vial that hums slightly. Drinking it grants a one-time, short-range teleport followed by a shadow-clinging sensation.

When consumed, you can cast misty step (as the spell) once within 1 minute. Single use.
Weapons3

A well-balanced dagger with its blade treated and sealed with a fast-acting toxin. Single-use poison.

On a hit, the coating breaks the skin. Target must succeed on a Con save or take poison damage and be poisoned for 1 minute. The poison is expended after one successful hit.

A well-balanced short sword with a faint line of runes along the fuller. Small repairs visible from long use.

Atk +1 to attack and damage rolls when wielded.

A slim obsidian rod capped with a small star-shaped gem. Warm to the touch.

Contains 7 charges. While holding it, you can expend charges to cast magic missile (1 charge = 1st-level casting; higher-level uses cost more). Regains charges daily at dawn (DM rules vary).
Miscellaneous4

A thick, black-smelling oil kept in a corked bone vial. Dangerous to handle without gloves.

Contact: when smeared on a weapon, a single hit forces a Con save or take poison damage and be poisoned for 1 minute. Easily removed with a Sleight of Hand check (or soaking).

A cloudy, bitter liquid in a leaded phial. Labeled in an old tongue.

Ingested: Con save or take poison damage and be poisoned for 1 minute (additional effects often roleplayed by DM).

A vial of green, viscous liquid rumored to be distilled from rare vipers and something darker.

Injury: applied to a blade. On hit, Con save or take poison damage and be paralyzed for rounds. Single-use.

A powder of ashen blue that tickles the nose. Caution: breathing it is unpleasant.

Contact inhalation: Con save or fall asleep (magical sleep) for 1 minute or until shaken. Works best in enclosed spaces; single-use packet.
Miscellaneous7

A compact leather roll of picks, files, and a small pry bar. Vesper prefers these because they hide a few extra tricks.

Grants +2 circumstance bonus to checks at the DM's discretion when the tools match the lock's maker or era.

Standard adventuring rope.

A small clay sphere that, when smashed, erupts into thick black smoke.

Creates a heavily obscured 10-foot radius cloud for up to 1 minute (disperses if a strong wind or magical effect).

A heavy ledger filled with names, amounts, and faint shorthand. Useful in the right hands.

Contains names and IOUs that can be used for leverage. May implicate a local merchant (plot hook).

Leather satchel with a faint hum. A perfect item for smugglers and thieves.

Functions as a Bag of Holding (capacity and properties per DMG).

Cheap wax candles that burn clean and scentless (useful in covert operations).

None mechanical. Prized for being unscented and nearly smokeless.

A drab, sealed vial with a label in a different city’s dialect. Vesper claims it saved a fence once.

Unknown: contents are ambiguous — may be a weak sedative or nothing at all. Selling it is more about story than substance.
Miscellaneous1

A small, delicate locket inset with cheap gems. Appears to be a noble's keepsake.

Miscellaneous1

A half-meter-wide tapestry with a finely embroidered heraldic scene.

Miscellaneous2

A pinch of warm, coppery ash said to be drawn from phoenix feathers. Useful in potent fire and restoration rites.

Used as a costly spell component for certain fire or resurrection spells (DM adjudication).

A small phial of white dust said to come from a creature of purity. Legal/ethical status is ambiguous — attractive to unscrupulous buyers.

Valuable for high-level healing and protective rituals; likely to draw attention from druids or paladins if advertised.
Armor1

A dark, muted cloak that seems to drink in light at its edges.

AC +1Grants +1 to AC and saving throws while worn.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop is a narrow underground room behind a false bakery wall: low ceiling, coils of ropes and jars lining shelves, and a blue-glass front counter with a shallow basin used for testing poisons on small scraps. Vesper Coil keeps a small, glossy black snake named 'Mercy' curled in a brass bowl; the snake is trained to react to guests Vesper trusts. All transactions are quiet and recorded in cipher; Vesper accepts gold or rare items of equivalent value, and prefers trades of information over direct coin. She always asks a buyer three personal questions before lowering the price and will refuse service to anyone who enters humming a saint's hymn.
