The Lanterned Lute
The inn was built thirty years ago by a retired watch captain who wanted a safe place for traders and militia. It survived a bandit raid fifteen years ago that burned part of the outer wall; the current wide hearth and many of the inn's reclaimed beams date from the rebuild. Over the last decade the inn gained a reputation as a waypoint for mid-tier adventurers after Mira arrived and began quietly organizing lodging and jobs for those passing through. The inn's private rooms became known as safe, if expensive, places to hide evidence, speak frankly, or plan a strike.
