Quirks

A patched lute hangs above the hearth and someone always leaves a coin at its base on new moons. A small grey cat named Stitch curls on new guest's boots and will not leave until it is offered a scrap of meat. Mira stamps guests' ledger with colored wax; the color can be a veiled message to observant patrons.

Lore

Locals say the inn stands on the edge of an old watch post; stones under the cellar are older than the town. Some claim a short subterranean passage runs from the cellar toward the old road, used in times of siege. Others whisper a half-forgotten guild once used the inn as a meeting place, leaving behind coded marks carved into the floorboards under the main table.
