Quirks

On festival nights the tavern hangs mismatched antler trophies and ribbons; patrons throw a token (coin or scrap) into the braziers to 'bless the hunt.' The staff hums a syncopated marching tune before closing time — a subtle signal that off-duty Order members are on watch. Mara insists all newcomers taste a honeycake; refusing is considered odd but not rude.
