Orscs rest

Orsc's rest was founded twenty years ago by Orsc Thornback, a one-time caravan guard who laid down roots after a raid left him with more stories than coin. He purchased a rickety inn at the crossroads in Eveningstar and built the rugged taproom out of timbers taken from an old drover's wagon. The tavern grew with the road traffic from Arabel and Suzail and became known as the place a tired guard could sleep, an orchardman could sell a crate of apples, and a band of sellswords could spend a night's, or a week's, wages. Over the years the tavern earned a reputation for settling arguments with fists rather than parchments. After Orsc's quiet death, his adopted daughter, Bryn Thornback, and a string of hired bouncers kept the business honest enough for the Crown's purple dragons to keep a watchful eye.
