The Iron Salt Pub
Built three decades ago by a retired salt merchant, The Iron Salt Pub began as a waystation for coastal caravans. Marta Ironhand bought the place after saving the owner from a collapsing dock beam; she reinforced the foundation with iron braces (hence the name) and kept the salty traditions. Over the years the inn has been a meeting place for sailors, miners, and caravanners. Rumors spread that, during a storm fifteen years ago, the cellar briefly filled with seawater and something swam against the door.
