History

Opened a decade ago by Mira Whiskfall after she earned coin performing in nearby market towns. She took a dowry from a traveling merchant and converted a shuttered cloth shop into a warm inn focused on small comforts and feline patrons. Over the years it became beloved by apprentices, fishers, and anyone who preferred cozy corners and steady hearth flames.

Quirks

All serving bowls for cat patrons are shallow and low; Mira keeps a small bell at the bar that she rings whenever a stray cat enters. Regulars will pat and clear space on benches for feline guests. Patrons often leave little trinkets (yarns, feathered toys, or tiny bells) on the mantle in exchange for a saved bowl of broth.

Lore

Locals whisper that the hearth was blessed long ago by a lesser cat spirit who favors travelers with safe passage and cozy naps. The blessing is said to cause lost items to find their way back to the inn if they were meant to be recovered. Superstitious patrons leave a broken bell or a ribbon on the hearth to curry favor with the spirit.
