The Hearth & Hollow
The Hearth & Hollow began when a retired adventurer purchased a warm little hut at the crossroads and built it into an inn. Over two decades it grew into a trusted waypoint for caravans and knights. The foundation stones are from an old watchtower destroyed during the War of Withering; rumors say a small reliquary was walled into the cellar at the time. The inn became known as neutral ground for bargains and quiet shelter for those who would rather not be seen. After the original owner disappeared on a distant errand, the current innkeeper kept the traditions alive and added the nightly performances and bathhouse.
