The Hearth & Hound's resident scruffy bard, a young halfling named Pip, often halts conversations with off-key songs about heroic deeds and past adventurers, much to the delight (and occasional irritation) of the patrons.

Lore

Local legend says the spot where the hearth now burns was once a place where villagers gathered to welcome a wandering hero, who left a blessing on the land. Some say the lingering warmth of that blessing keeps the inn cozy no matter the harsh winters beyond.
