The Moss & Hearth
Built two decades ago by a pair of exiled woodcutters, The Moss & Hearth began as a lean-to for travelers sheltering from storms. As the woodland trade grew, Maren's mentor expanded it into a proper retreat. Over the years the tavern became a meeting point for rangers, druids, and the occasional road-weary noble who sought solace away from court. The roof was repaired with timber from a single ancient oak said to have sheltered a druid ancestor; patrons sometimes leave small tokens there for safe travels.
