The Embered Flagon
Built by a caravan master turned innkeeper forty years ago after a terrible spring blizzard left his party stranded, the Embered Flagon began as a single-room wood shelter and grew into the sprawling log-and-stone tavern it is now. Over the decades it became the favored refuge for hunters, miners, and traders crossing the Frostway Pass. The current owner added the second-level overlook after a fire nearly consumed the original structure twenty years ago; the rebuilt hearth was said to have been blessed by a traveling hearth-witch and has kept the Flagon warm through storms that froze the very glass of the windows.
