The Cloven Hoof

The Cloven Hoof began as a wayside alehouse thirty years ago, founded by Mira's father—an ex-forester who carved the hoof sign after an encounter with a wild stag. Over the years the inn grew into a modest inn favored by hunters, merchants and the occasional adventuring party. During the winter of the Long Freeze, Mira negotiated with a passing caravan to shelter dozens of travelers and earned lasting goodwill that keeps the inn stocked through lean seasons.
