Lore

Legend says the tavern’s namesake lantern was once carried by a drowned lighthouse keeper who died trying to save a cursed ship lost to a storm. Within the basement is a sealed crypt said to contain relics of a sea god’s forgotten cult, whose awakening might explain the strange phenomena that occasionally ripple through the docks.
