When the tavern is particularly full, the patrons often break into impromptu arm-wrestling contests and loud, off-key singalongs of bawdy sea shanties, encouraged by Borin’s booming laughter and hefty tankard raises.

Legend speaks of a wyvern’s skull mounted behind the bar, said to have been taken from a dying beast by Borin’s ancestor during the founding days.
