Quirks

On the last moon of every month the lodge's hearthstone glows faintly blue for a night. Regulars say it brings luck to hunters; strangers often leave offerings (a coin, a lock of hair) in the hearth before bed. The barkeep marks the names of people who've 'borrowed' bed space with a small carved rune behind the bar.

Lore

Locals tell of an old guardian spirit that once watched over the pass: a stone-bear whose sleeping breath warmed the rocks.
