The Frostmantle Hearth was built a century ago by Brolda’s forebears as a haven for miners and travelers seeking respite from the savage winter storms. Expanding over the years, it became famous for its hospitality, hearty food, and secret-smithing deals transacted by the firelight.

Quirks

Dwarven mining songs sometimes break out spontaneously. Patrons use a hollow stone horn to signal for refills, echoing the mountains. The house spirit–a carved runestone said to bless the hearth–bows to newcomers from its mantle perch.

Lore

The lodge stands atop a natural hot spring said to be the remnants of an ancient dwarven forge. Local legend claims the mountain itself is the slumbering form of the primordial earth spirit Glorgrun, and its guardians still protect their kin through stone and flame.
