The Hearth & Hammer
Built nearly fifty years ago by a master carpenter from the village forest, The Hearth & Hammer was originally a blacksmith’s home before being converted into an inn. Over time, it became the heart of village social life, surviving harsh winters and occasional raids by bandits. It is said the name honors the original forge outside the door and the warmth the hearth brings within.
