Quirks

The inn's hearth has a loose stone that rattles when the wind is from the north; regulars tap it for luck before a dice roll. Marta hums the same two-note tune when worried; patrons can tell when trouble is near.

Lore

Old timers say the inn stands on the edge of an ancient track once used by pilgrims to a vanished shrine. Bits of carved stone and odd symbols occasionally wash up in the nearby stream after heavy rains.
