The Resting Gryphon

Built three decades ago by a retired adventuring couple, The Resting Gryphon began as a modest wayhouse at the crossroads. As the road became busier with mercenaries, treasure-seekers, and displaced folk after northern conflicts, Mara's family expanded it into a refuge for wanderers. Over the years it served as a meeting point for several notable companies — the Gryphon Bannered Blades staged strategy meetings here before heading to the northern passes. The tavern survived a small siege during a smuggling crackdown when the owners hid a group of refugees beneath the floorboards.
