Quirks

Patrons often find themselves tapping to a swing beat even when they do not intend to. Flumphs occasionally float over tables and 'lend' tiny tentacles to adjust napkins, but will spray a faint stench at anyone acting aggressively toward performers. Mack Lowitz is a rare orc chef who blends culinary traditions from across continents and planes, incorporating safe planar spices and subtle enchantments. The house uses minor ritual binding to keep floating lamps and spice-elementals in check. Several guardian runes around the cellar point to a previous life for the building as a minor shrine, which explains the tavern's resonance with minor divinations.
