The Boar & Broken Banner
Opened twenty-two years ago by Branna after she sold her share in a mercenary company, the Boar & Broken Banner began as an honest respite for veterans. Its location — at the crossroad of a forgotten back alley and the trade road — made it ideal for passing soldiers and traveling merchants. Over time it became a hub for unofficial contracts and wagers. Brawls and bargains have hardened the tavern's boards; the cellar was repurposed from an old smuggler's pit into a training ring and stash. Branna kept the place afloat during the Siege of Harken by negotiating with both army and looters; some say that's when she made the ledger deals that now shadow the tavern.
