Quirks

All regulars leave a small iron token in Mira's ledger when they owe a favor; the tavern's lanterns are hung with tiny carved wooden dice for 'good rolls'; there's a tab marked 'Lost Maps' under a nail behind the bar. A tabby cat named Rust chews on rope tassels and occasionally 'inspects' coin purses.

Locals say the tavern sits on the meeting spot of three old trail markers—good luck for travelers and a reason why maps often point back here. Superstitious patrons leave a small coin for the 'Lantern of Keld', a folk tale of a guardian spirit that once lit the watch-paths. Some believe the sealed cellar hides a relic from that watch; others say it's only old supplies and an embarrassing trunk of Mira's former adventuring costumes.
