Appearance
Thalen is a mountain of a dwarf, standing broader than most of his kin with a physical presence that radiates heat like an active kiln. His skin is the color of old copper, stained permanently with soot and iron-filings that seem to have settled into the very pores of his face. His beard is a massive, triple-braided construct of dark mahogany hair, weighted at the ends with solid gold rings that chime with a low, melodic ring when he moves. Most striking are his eyes, which burn with a literal ember-red glow, intensifying when he is angry or deep in the trance of the forge.
