Balasar is a massive humanoid whose scales resemble polished obsidian when in shadow, but they erupt into a blinding spectrum of iridescent oil-slick colors when touched by light. His movements are heavy and deliberate, carrying the weight of thick, battle-scarred chain mail that smells faintly of citrus and cold iron. His right eye is a milky, blind sphere of quartz, while his left is a vivid amethyst that seems to track movement with predatory precision.
