Once the Duergar citadel Gorag and a slaver hub, the fort fell to the Twilight Liberators who freed captives and founded First Light, repelled the returned Lich Im-Ravin and his undead siege, and turned the fortress into a diverse underground town reliant on smithing, trade, and expeditionary work into Dyris ruins.
