Marrow-Gate is one of nine legendary fortresses housing the Shackle of Malice, a divine relic binding a trapped god. Lord Xylochron, an ancient lich, maintains the seal from within his obsidian halls. The surrounding Dust-Wallow camp arose as a refuge for the living, who trade labor for the protection of the fortress. Life is a grim struggle between the desert's heat and the cold indifference of their undead overlord.
