Oxcross Neck
Oxcross Neck is a cluster of stilted timber buildings perched on a narrow land bridge. The village exists where the river loops so tightly it nearly meets itself. Residents live in constant negotiation with the water, reinforcing banks with stone and timber. Docks line the outer curve to catch passing trade, while the inner curve serves as a nursery for river-reeds. It is a place of mud, mist, and maritime industry.
